Why DotNetTopics?

DotNetTopics aims to build, share and store valuable resources on the web targeted to .Net framework. It provides a portal to the .Net community to build and create a persistent database of resources ; resource information is stored and presented in a informative and visual way which enables the reader to make a more effective and informative decision about the resource. It also gives more visibility and readership to resources that could not make higher ranking in search engines results. It enables prolific web authors to come and announce about their publication and be noticed right away. The community now gets a chance to build and store their resource repository which can act as their permanent reference point.

Web resource profiling and aggregation needs to still mature on the internet. We need tools that enhance the web search experience by profiling and clustering resources for a niche audience.

This website is a demonstartion and beta application that I have put together for a scalable , reusable framework for Resource Management Systems. This framework is simple; currently developed in .Net 2.0 , Ajax methods and SQL 2005. The database is in the third normalized form and uses stored procedures.

You can reuse this framework- with a few configuration changes in XML, to publish a site which compiles resources on other topics like Flowers , Health etc,etc.- any subject under the planet.

My intention is to reuse this framework and create few other websites like this on varied topics.

However the current framework as is can be reused to publish Resources on any topic without any extra programming as stated earlier: for those of who are interested in buying this framework or creating a website for you using this framework can contact me at: My Email.
